Nosmo King

This is Day 5 of no smoking, again! Stupid me quit about 2 1/2 years ago, for almost 14 months. Had it beat, right? Wrong! For some reason, it seems to be going much easier this time. Sure there are a few rough patches, but all in all not too bad. And speaking of patches, that's the method I'm using to quit. There are three strengths of patches which you use to eventually ween yourself off the nicotine. Each level of patch is to be used for 3 weeks each, and when you get to the ninth week with patch #3, you've overcome the habit of lighting up by then and it makes needing nicotine easier to give up.
Even people who smoke don't realize this. The habit of simply sucking on the smoke is almost as bad as the nicotine addiction itself. So while the patch let's me have my "fix",transdermally, one habit is kicked. You might say the patch divides and conquers, at least that's the way I see it in my mind.
There's quite an interesting side effect to the patch, dreaming! Dreams for me are few and far between, but every night is like a movie night. Although by the time morning rolls around I forget most of it, I do wake up a few times during the night from the intense reality of the dream. All I know is that they are not negative episodes, not nightmares. I faintly remember some being old memories, many from my childhood/adolescence era.
I just grabbed the booklet that came with the box of patches, and there it is. Side effects: vivid dreams. Yay, I'm not losing it. lol. Other symtoms: lightheadedness, increased appetite, and irritability. All true. Grumpy, spaced out and snacking more, check. Only the latter worries me, don't want to gain weight, or replace food with smoking. I'll work on that.
Reading further in the booklet, my favourite part. "Reward yourself, buy yourself something". Saving almost $13/day(1 1/2 packs), do I have my reward already targeted. But, that'll be in the new year. All I'll say is that it's golf related,

ok, Day 1. off we go.

Friday, fuck yah. It was so slow at the shop today I began a home project for storage of our golf gear. I scoured the shop(which is huge) and found four nice cherry doors, which I'll incorporate into the project. I even have a great spot in mind where the cabinets will be located. We have a crappy corner area in the hallway which seems such a waste to me, take a look at the picture I've uploaded.
So, measured my parts I've found, measured the area where it'll all get installed, and to my CAD app I go. Let's see what I can come up with. It may take a while, but I'll sneak the hours in here and there. Don't want to burn out for my golf games......
